Here at OJCS, in honour of Shavuot we are collecting food for the Ottawa Kosher Food Bank! Please send non-perishable items to school this week with your child!
This month, French homework will consist of reading as many French books as possible to complete the Scholastic 100 book challenge as a class!

You are invited to join us virtually on Thursday, April 7th. You will get to see the finished projects AND you will be able to play a quick game of Science trivia against Kitah Bet! In order to prepare for the trivia, please download the Kahoot! app on your phone.

2A – 9:30 am – Google Meet
2B – 2:15 pm – Google Meet

The weather is warming up (a bit), the snow is melting, the birds are chirping… and spring is here! That means… INNOVATION DAY IS COMING!
SAVE THE DATE: Thursday, April 7th! Like last year, the event will be virtual. More information about timing and schedules will be released in the coming week.
I am very excited about this year’s project (no spoilers just yet)… but I need your help! It would be greatly appreciated if you could please send your child to school with recycled cardboard next week. Some ideas are: cereal boxes, shoe boxes, amazon boxes, etc!

Please see the poster below for details about the theme days and costumes. As a class, we have chosen that Wednesday will be WHITE TIE WEDNESDAY (essentially, it’s a formal dress up day!). Bust out your bowties, dresses, blazers, and more!
