The last two weeks have been full of meaningful learning at the OJCS. We talked about some animals and we learnt where they live and what they eat. The kids wrote down all this information and turned it into a game. They had so much fun playing together. Since they have learnt so many verbs, they love using them to create longer sentences and texts. We also learnt the opposites, that was also interesting because they had to come up with different examples to describe things that are small,long,dry,cold,empty(petit,long,sec,froid,vide) etc. They worked in groups and played different games to practice the vocabulary. Finally we learnt the parts of the body making booklets and monsters. Every Friday we do reading buddies with grade 4 and 5. They read together, learn 3 new words and play Blooket revising the vocabulary.
