Bonjour! It has been a a great week well spent getting to know our grade 2’s! They are a great group and all seem to be enthusiastic about learning French! To recap this week, we started doing calendar every day, practicing the days of the week as well as the months of the year. We have been putting emphasis on being able to say today’s date properly and remembering to start with the correct day of the week, the number and then the month and… they learned how to say the year 2018 en francais!
We also prepared their folders that will incorporate every activity that is related to them (an all about me folder). We will do various projects throughout the year that will enable them to display who they are and learn more about themselves! This should be a great year ahead! Shana Tova to all!
